In the notorious roguelike dark fantasy RPG "World of Ruin," surviving past character creation is considered a miracle. Normal players are fortunate if they can secure one or two minor beneficial traits without rolling crippling negative afflictions. But when a hardcore theorycrafter transmigrates directly into the body of an ordinary character within the game's brutal universe, the RNG system experiences a historic jackpot glitch. Instead of the standard traits, he begins his journey possessing thirteen hyper-rare, synergistic Hidden Traits, from absolute physical damage nullification to infinite mana resonance and god-tier perception. While everyone else struggles through a nightmare of permadeath and horrific dungeon horrors, he systematically chains his 13 broken perks to dismantle every impossible boss in his path.

The world of Starting With 13 Hidden Traits takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth that violently converged with the hyper-brutal virtual reality game Pangaea. This cataclysmic dimensional overlap erased national borders, merging real-world cities with vast, deadly biomes from the game world. Key locations include the scorched Kaltzman Desert, home to ancient curses and draconic ruins; Arcana, an opulent metropolis driven by high-stakes gambling and luxury; the Balan Kingdom, anchored by the fortified sanctuary of Knight's Garden; Kramdel, a lawless monster metropolis ruled by ancient powers; and the global Abyssal Labyrinth, a multidimensional mega-dungeon bridging Earth, the Demon Realm, and celestial planes.
Power is determined by transmigrated player stats, skill masteries, and dimensional class evolutions. Players and entities advance through distinct developmental thresholds:. Awakened Classes: Ranging from Common to Unique, culminating in divine-tier paths such as Star Successor and Star Bearer. Trait System: Passive and active dimensional abilities etched into a soul. While standard entities possess 1 - 3 traits, elite anomalies wield multiple hidden traits (e.g., Chaos Command, Eternal Randolph, and advanced Druid Transformations). Dimensional Status Ranks: Combat power scales from standard Adventurer ranks up to Transcendent Knights, Demon Kings, and cosmic-level Divine Constellations.
The 8 Heroes: A legendary order of ancient defenders now corrupted by greed, nobility, and demonic alliances. The Five Pillars of Kramdel: The absolute sovereign overlords who govern the monster city of Kramdel through raw strength. The Balan Kingdom & Royal Knights: A righteous military kingdom guarding ancient relics like the Knight King’s legacy. The Demonic Realms: A coalition of invading Demon Kings (such as Ahram, First King of Hell) seeking total dimensional assimilation. The Constellations: Transcendent cosmic entities who watch, sponsor, and grant divine rewards to players climbing the global rankings.
Dimensional convergence enforces rigid system mechanics: Limit Curses restrict high-tier entities unless cleansed by divine artifacts, while Warp Gate Instability triggers catastrophic monster surges if neglected. Players navigate system-enforced Main Quests, trade in the Golden Rule Shop, and execute soul-binding contracts. Death permits corpse domination by high-level necromantic/corpse traits, allowing fallen high-tier entities to be reanimated as political puppet assassins.
Park Hyun-Myung is the former top-ranked veteran player of Pangaea, known by his legendary aliases "Phantom" and "Randolph." Cold, ruthlessly pragmatic, and highly strategic, he approaches the apocalyptic convergence of Pangaea and Earth not as a catastrophe, but as a board game to be mastered. Upon awakening, he retains maxed-out base stats and thirteen game-breaking hidden traits. Guided by absolute self-interest and a desire to dismantle corrupt powers, he manipulates politics, enslaves fallen foes as political puppets, and ascends divine power ladders to protect his core assets. Combat abilities and traits: Class evolutions spanning Star Successor to Star Bearer; ancient King Wilhelm swordsmanship; traits including Chaos Command, Eternal Randolph, and evolved Druid traits; corpse puppet manipulation; summons and commands celestial spirits, including his reaper spirit, "Hell." Wields top-tier divine artifacts including the Circlet of Constraint and consumes World Tree Fruit for trait ascension.
Chapter 1Known as the Serpent Princess of the Kaltzman Desert, Isabella is a proud warrior trapped by an ancient Limit Curse that capped her power and restricted her domain. When Randolph clears her sanctuary trial and removes her curse, she binds herself to him through a contractual oath. Initially guarded and suspicious, her bond with Randolph grows into absolute tactical synergy as she embraces her draconic lineage to become his chief front-line combat partner. Combat abilities and traits: Draconic scale enhancement granting near-impervious physical defense; enhanced draconic claw strike techniques; elite agility and fire-elemental aura manipulation; rapid combat evolution during boss-level encounters.
Chapter 3A fabulously wealthy player and proprietor of the elite Hudson Casino in Arcana. In the real world, Oliver suffers from severe, debilitating physical health complications, leaving him reliant on virtual/converged systems for mobility and longevity. Recognizing Randolph’s absolute mastery over the world's mechanics, Oliver pledges his personal loyalty and immense financial network to back Randolph's global operations, serving as the logistics mastermind of the group. Combat abilities and traits: Financial dominance, global intelligence networks, high-tier resource management, and commercial infrastructure manipulation across human cities.
Chapter 9An infamous half-dragonkin criminal whose past actions left him burdened with a massive infamy score. Hiding as a humble hot spring attendant in the monster city of Kramdel, Isaac lived in constant self-loathing until Randolph used a divine artifact to wipe his infamy record clean. In gratitude, Isaac pledged his lethal lightning blades to Randolph’s party, returning to combat as a fierce front-line vanguard. Combat abilities and traits: Half-dragonkin physical augmentation; lightning-infused speed and swordsmanship capable of severing high-tier defensive barriers; high burst-damage strike combos.
Chapter 24The daughter of Marquis Weizer and a former transcendent knight of the Balan Kingdom who fell victim to a Demon King's sleep curse. Rescued and cured by Randolph during the Siege of Knight's Garden, she re-dedicates her blade to his service. After surviving a brutal raid on her estate by corrupt heroes, she casts aside her noble naivety and trains under Randolph to become an unyielding defender and markswoman. Combat abilities and traits: Dual mastery in heavy tower-shield defensive arts and long-range sniper bowmanship; transcendent knight aura; holy-infused defensive barriers.
Chapter 15The ruthless Captain of the Kaiser Mercenaries and a prominent rogue member of the famed 8 Heroes. Corrupted by ambition, Maxim secretly allied with demonic forces to consolidate power and raid noble houses, including Marquis Weizer’s estate. After being brutally executed by Randolph in retribution, his body was reanimated as a mindless puppet assassin controlled by Randolph's corpse traits to orchestrate political purges from the shadows. Combat abilities and traits: Demonic dark arts enhancement combined with high-tier mercenary blade techniques; heavy martial aura; post-mortem reanimation status granting him relentless undead resilience.

The rogue hero Maxim raids Marquis Weizer's estate, threatening Serengeti and attempting to seize ancient regional power. Corrupt noble factions are destabilized from within via puppet political assassinations, while Randolph's core party scales to high-tier endgame combat readiness.
Ch. 43 - 46
World-system announcements broadcast the opening of the global Abyssal Labyrinth alongside news of a corrupted Saintess mobilizing the Demon Realm. Randolph places his party ahead of all global factions in the race for the Labyrinth's core, setting the stage for direct confrontation with divine Constellations and top-tier Demon Kings.
