Evolution Begins With A Big Tree is a unique progression fantasy manhua with a non-human protagonist. Yu Ziyu reincarnates not as a person but as a giant mutated willow tree in a dangerous wilderness, forced to build power from the ground up in the most literal sense possible. The world is defined by cyclic Spiritual Qi Tides that trigger rapid, mutation-driven evolution across all biological life, transforming Earth from a high-tech human society into a chaotic battleground of awakened flora and fauna. Ziyu weaponizes his evolution system to absorb elemental powers, subordinate powerful beasts, and expand his territory one conquered threat at a time. The series scales dramatically from local canyon defense against human militaries to interstellar warfare against ancient cosmic pantheons. What makes it unique is its perspective: the protagonist never takes human form yet develops complex relationships, builds an empire, and outmaneuvers both mortal kingdoms and divine powers through sheer adaptive intelligence. The tone blends cultivation progression with grand cosmic ambition, delivering constant satisfying power-ups rooted in biological and elemental creativity.
