Centuries after the fall of the legendary Queen who once united the entire continent under a golden era of peace, the realm lies fractured among self-serving kingdoms and greedy nobles. Princess Elda de Springas of the Springas Kingdom faces a bleak destiny as royal pawn, scheduled to be traded away in a loveless political marriage to consolidate her family military influence. Fierce, proud, and determined to steer her own fate, the rebellious royal stakes everything by joining the perilous Aire Expedition, an ancient quest that promises absolute sovereignty to anyone capable of uncovering the divine relics left behind by the deceased monarch.
To ensure her survival across uncharted wilderness crawling with monstrous predators and treacherous cutthroats, Elda purchases and frees Johan, a hardened gladiator whose exceptional combat instincts are matched only by his bitter cynicism. Bound by mutual necessity, the headstrong princess and her weary bodyguard venture into forgotten ruins, clashing with rival factions and scheming merchant leagues also racing for the ultimate prize. Through brutal encounters and shifting loyalties, their perilous odyssey uncovers deep secrets about the old empire that threaten to upend the balance of power across the entire world.
